Will quickbooks pro 2000 run on windows 10.Which Windows 10 version works best for QuickBooks Desktop?
Ask a new question. I have been using Quicken successfully on Windows 7 64bit for some years. Have now upgraded to Windows 10 has anybody managed to install it on this OS. I have tried copying the disc to the hard drive and running the setup. I restored my accounts data from a back up file successfully. The only issue I can see is similar to running Quicken in windows 7 xp mode, the home page doesn't load properly.
However the accounts listings, register, and all other functions appear fully operational. This successful installation was on a Dell 64bit based laptop, that originated as a Windows 7 home edition.
Win 7 Home would not run Quicken at all, so I'm amazed that the free Windows 10 upgrade does allow Quicken to run. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Here's what I did. You will now see folders and files on the quicken disc. Double click on the win95 folder, that will now show you files within the win95 folder.
In will quickbooks pro 2000 run on windows 10 Win95 folder, your will see several setup files, look for the setup file, the file that teams room devices intune will quickbooks pro 2000 run on windows 10 beside it, double click it and it installed Quicken as normal. Hope that helps others who are still using Quicken UK software.
